This original 'Portrait of Mother Earth' represents an intimate section of Prairie specifically within the Meewasin Valley of Treaty 6 Territory, which, at this time, remains protected and unbroken.
Utilizing a variety of natural, repurposed, and recycled fibres, these embroideries were created by layering, needle felting, machine and hand stitching. I have stitched my initials into the bottom corner of the artwork.
Specs:
5x5 inch embroidery in 6x6 inch shadowbox-style frame with glass (blonde wood composite veneer). 
Each frame is numbered, dated, and signed by hand on back by the artist. Ready to hang.
